Service Description

This is a two day course where we will spend the first day adjusting your pattern to fit your measurements for a perfect custom fit. Your second day, date to be decided by students, we will use a variety of sewing machines, and techniques to create a lovely custom fitted short or long sleeve knit T shirt. We will then make any adjustments needed to the garment and create a pattern block that fits your body. This class is for any level. What you will learn: How to take a commercial pattern and fit it to your body How to sew with knits How to thread and maintain machines How to use a serger, sewing machine, and coverlock machine Learn about fabric grain and avoiding twisting in finished garments Industry tricks for a professional finish You will leave with a shirt that fits you well and a permanent pattern block customized to your body for future projects All materials included Cost: $110.00 total for the two day class Dates: Sept 17, 2026, second date to be selected by students Next Class
